I am not sure why the last reviewer gave it one star, she did not even say why it warranted such a low rating. IT is a perfect bag, several compartments, durable, washes off easily- trust me my five year old dropped it in the mud on her first day. My daughter is a huge Strawberry Shortcake fan and chose this bag above all others and it seems perfect for her. The detail is lovely. The only problem I had was there was no place to put a name label but in light of things that was no big deal. We love it love it love it. ...more

It is durable, yet light enough for her to carry her loose papers in. AND...the straps can be made to go shorter or longer, giving her ample room to wear it in a comfortable position! It holds alot of stuff, is pretty (Strawberry is wearing a fancy dress). She also has the matching lunch bag which she enjoys as well. The backpack is presently dirty and wet but that is not the manufacturer's fault. My daughter put it on the floor while on the school bus and it got dirty there.
